School has started up again for the semester, and it's gonna be a hard one
(between two classes, I have to read SEVENTEEN plays, not to mention all the
plays I'll read to find monologues for my audition class, so I really need to
keep up with it!). And of course, as soon as school starts, I have people
sending me trade requests! Don't get me wrong, I love to get them and send
them, but it might take me a week to respond, and I apologize because I really
want to respond quickly!
In other news, I've been looking for another TCG to join. I love S&S, but
I need something to tide me over when it slows down. I guess what I don't
understand is the new trend where the entire creation process is up for
discussion in forums. From card template (I don't understand why this is
so important? Shouldn't we worry more about the quality of images that
will eventually go into this template??) to TCG name to activities to
EVERYTHING! It seems like all the TCGs, instead of getting more creative,
are just a variation on the same thing. I can understand wanting to gauge
interest in a certain subject for a TCG, but this is a little much. If you
can give me some insight on this, please please email me, because I really don't
understand it.
-General-
PLEASE READ
This has been up for a
couple weeks now. And yet people continue to do this. So from now
on, I'm just going to delete the emails. I'm sorry, but I'm tired
of being frustrated and short with people in my replies because
they can't bother to read my site before going after my cards. There are a few traders who I have done plenty of good business
with in the past who I will overlook it for, but since they are
the least likely to do this, it hardly needs saying.
So there are a few things that bug me about how people play TCGs, but I'd have to say the number one thing is when people go "Is there anything you want for my ______?" Either you didn't bother looking hard enough, or you did and hey, there really is nothing. And then I have to feel bad turning you down. There is an exception to this; if you are down to like two cards away from mastering a set, and I have one you need, then still ask away. I'm not so jaded as to deny you that.
But in general, guys and gals, just say no. Someone else probably has the same card anyway.
